Glasgow's premier self-development organisation
Every month we organise and run a broad range of business and social events.
Whether it's an interactive "learning by doing"
self-development session; a workshop to help you hone up on those
essential business skills; or building
confidence in making presentations and speeches, we enjoy what we
do and we do it locally, nationally and internationally!
We even find time for community projects.
You’ll find there's something for everyone.
With a network of about 200,000 members in 6,000 towns, cities and communities across
the world this is a great opportunity to experience new cultures and visit new places
throughout Europe and across the world, creating new friendships and developing
exciting business opportunities.
It’s simple: the more you put in, the more get out.
What we do
We run comprehensive programme of "soft skills" management training and events that
include motivational and inspirational speakers, national and international conferences,
social events and practical projects locally, nationally and internationally.
Whether you want to expand your social and business contacts, build your confidence
and become more effective or are simply new to the area, you are bound to meet like-minded
people.
We help members to develop their skills and reach their true potential – whatever
that may be.
Who we are
Our organisation is a not for profit voluntary organisation, run by the members
for the members'. We are open to everyone between 18 and 40 and members come from
all walks of life.
It’s our 70th anniversary in 2007 and we'll be hosting
JCI Scotland’s annual conference.
Famous past members of Junior Chamber include Past US Presidents JF Kennedy and
Bill Clinton, UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and even the King himself Elvis Presley.
